This is an experimental page delivering live screenshots from my flights in the open source flight simulator FlightGear.

Current view from Anders's FlightGear. (If the picture doesn't change or there isn't any at all I'm not running FG right now.)

How it is done

• I run FlightGear with the --jpg-httpd=port option.
• I locally capture screenshots and copy them to a webserver on my local box using this shell script.
• This page on my primary webserver contains a javascript that repeatedly fetches the newest image from my local box.
